The Stone House Inn

Very, very clean! Nice location in town. Evelyn was extremely nice and friendly! There were always snacks and drinks available to us. She even made cinnamon rolls! We stayed in the Layla Jane room for 2 nights. The only things that weren't worth 5 star but not enough to mark them down was you could hear the traffic. Then the shower never got hot enough. It was not cold but I had it turned up all the way and I wish it could have a bit more. The bed was pretty firm so, if you like a firm mattress thats the room for you. Even with that said I would stay there again if we ever had a function in the area again.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, beautifully furnished, excellent service. Denise and Annette were both helpful and friendly. Will definitely go again. Not handicap accessible, so be sure you can handle steps.

Beautiful cozy inn. My sister booked a room as her bridal suite and it had a huge bathtub in the room, large tv, and the staff was thrilled to have newlyweds. They even left a bottle of champagne in the room. It did not seem wheelchair friendly though, and the staircases were quite narrow and steep because of the age of the building.

Extremely clean and well maintained. It has old house quirks and charms but this place was built extremely well and restored very lovingly. I was marveling at the original glass and woodwork. Chesaning is a quiet little town so staying in their downtown was pretty peaceful at night. There’s parking on-site which is convenient. We stayed in the Thomas Levi room which has two queen beds and yes - a jetted tub in the room, even though there’s a full bathroom en suite - and it was very comfortable. Stone House Inn is not a bed and breakfast, meaning they are not going to serve you breakfast, but there’s snacks and coffee and some small breakfasty items in the kitchen.

I recently stayed here because it was not too far to drive. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very clean and quiet. The rooms are exceptionally maintained and offer a variety of options. The prices were very reasonable. I would return again.

What a wonderfully, beautiful place and people!! The whole experience is beyond words. It was our first experience with a bed n breakfast Inn and this experience made us feel like we were home away from home! Evelyn the Inn keeper was the sweetest, kindest, most welcoming, happy n bubbly person we have met n made us feel so welcomed and at home. Look forward to seeing her again. The Owners n father in law were as nice as can be. The amenities that was included blew us away! Self serve food n coffee at your convenience was included. (Which really helped with the late night munchies :) ) I'll be telling everyone I know n we will definitely be back! Love love love!!!!

We’ve been coming to the Stone House Inn for years. Always enjoy it. The new owners are upgrading the rooms. Everything looks lovely! Try it and see. We used to live in the area, came to the house when it was an antique store. Love the history!

Very beautiful home and staff were most gracious and friendly (thank you Evelyn! My children absolutely adored you!) The rooms are spacious, and the decor is stunning and grand. The history that the home has is very educational and informative. Highly recommend staying. We will be visiting again on future stays.
